I’m unable to switch back to the parent view. Using the most current update - I’ve tried closing and restarting my phone (iPhone, also up to date). There isn’t even the option to log out of the app in the kids view to log onto my account. Please fix your app!!!

This has been happening to me for weeks! The only way to get around it, is to un and re install the app which is highly annoying to do anytime you need to switch

Same issue here - can’t change back to parent view. Never seen sich an user unfriendly app in my life. Will never ever buy a fitbit product as the app is so poor

Only just bought Fitbit ace 3 for my children and they have messed the Fitbit app up completely, now can’t access my Fitbit charge 5 it’s just stuck on a child profile

Also having this issue. Selecting “Switch profile in Family” under settings does nothing. Switches to a blank “My Family” page very briefly before switching back to the “You” page.
On top of that, it’s also reset my Sense 2 back to zero steps, calories, heart rate etc!

Same here. We are not syncing our kids watches because the only way to return to the parent view is to reinstall the app.
This had been happening for a couple of months already.
Is there a bug report system where this can be reported?

Same issue. First I couldn’t switch to kid view so I updated the app on my iPhone. Now I am stuck in kid view with the family option missing. Only “switch profile in family” remains, but it does nothing.

I synced my daughter’s Ace 3 for the first time in a long time and now it’s permanently stuck in kid view 😭 Fitbit just has way too many problems that never get fixed. I’ve been using them for over 10 years but I doubt I’ll ever buy another one now. This is ridiculous.

I have now resolved this issue by firstly re-installing the app to get back to parent view and then converting my account from the old Fitbit account to a Google account. It now switches between profiles easily. Looks like Google is forcing everyone to google accounts by breaking anything that isn’t.
