Can the Charge 4 be paired with Child account?

Can the Charge 4 be paired with Child account? We don’t want an Ace and the Charge 4 was a better choice for my child.

I'm afraid only the Ace and Ace 2 can be used with a child account. See: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2346.htm

This policy really doesn't fit requirements when our children want the charge 4, will be 13 in a couple of months, and want the charge 4 for look, features etc

Yes, agreed. Terrible to not allow any device to be part of a Family Account....which I still never figured out how to create. Useless. And, that's why I'm not a FitBit-er.

Yes agreed.  Fitbit should more clearly write on Charge 4 packaging ‘do not buy this for a child’ if you aren’t going to invest in making the app compliant for children’s use. 

really disappointing Christmas Day purchase.  I see from other forum posts that customers have been asking you this for other devices for two years.  Your lack of customer-centric design is why I’m not a Fitbit user either.
