Cannot find "create family account"

I cannot figure out where to find the create family account option.  I have tried to update the app, like it was suggested, but i just installed it today so shouldnt it be updated already?  I am ready to give up and return the Ace3.  I've spent hours researching and trying everything.

I'm not sure if you are still having difficulties. Please, confirm that you have updated the Fitbit app by checking up the information provided here: How do I use the Fitbit app?

Thank you for your email. I have gone through that and verified that the
app is up to date. The biggest issue is that I do not have an icon to
click which is then to lead me to the "Create Family Account". I cannot
find it anywhere.
