Cannot pair Ace 3 after switching child's account to Google

My child is now 14 and has his own Google account. He recently set the Fitbit app up on his phone with his Google details and we tried to pair his Ace 3, but it is not recognised by Bluetooth and when we tried to do this through the app, or indeed, through the phone settings, it simply takes us to his landing page with his personal details. It's driving me mad! We turned Bluetooth off and on again, made sure to forget the Fitbit on other nearby devices, restarted the phone, charged the Fitbit up. I've read a few things that have suggested after the switch to Google, the Ace 3 may not work. Is this true? If so I'm leaving Fitbit! Or do we have to wait for the Fitbit to run out of battery to reset it? (I note there is no other way to turn the thing off. Bad design!)

Thanks for getting back to us @Freebic. I'm sorry to hear that your son hasn't been able to pair his Ace 3.

Ace 3 is a device designed for kids from 6 to 13 years old. Since your son already has his Google account and is already 14 years old, he won't be able to continue using his Ace 3.  He can now use an adult Fitbit device.
