There has been a feature request created for this functionality. Everyone should go vote for it here and hopefully Fitbit will take notice if it gets enough votes.

Hi @niamh0606

You'll need to log in the dashboard on the website to do it. Here is a copy and paste of the directions.

"

How do I change to a 12 or 24 hour clock?

  1. From the fitbit.com dashboard, click the gear icon User-added image > Settings > Personal Info.
  2. Under Advanced Settings, find Clock Display Time and select whether you want the time shown in 12-hour or 24-hour clock units.
  3. Click Submit and sync your device."

Let us know how that goes for you. Glad you and your son are with us!

@niamh0606 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you changing the time format on the Ace 2 and thank you for following @Odyssey13 suggestions. This could be a clock face limitation. Could you try a different clock face and see if the format is shown there.

Let me know how it goes.

I seem to have the same issue. Nothing I’ve done seems to have helped.

Does anybody know if there is a solution yet? My daughter has a fitbit Ace 2 and she wants to have a 24 hour clock. I have been trying to change it, but nothing seems to work.

I’m having the same issue. I’ve tried everything and deleted his account and created a new one. Please help my 7 yr old is so disappointed as he doesn’t understand the 24 hour format

I have seen several threads with this same issue and no one seems to have fixed it. My versa is on a 12 hour setting, always has been. Just got an ace 2 for my son and it’s automatically on a 24 hour clock. I tried different watch faces, doesn’t make a difference. I can’t see any way to solve this. Quite honestly, I’m fed up with this and other problems with Fitbit, which never seem to be resolved.

You. Ant do this for the ace 2, only for the parent account. And changing the parent account makes no difference, the child account is still on 24 hours.

Just got a Fitbit Ace 2 . It defaulted to the 24hr time dispaly format, and I can't get it to the 12 hr format.

I have changed the default clock display setting to 12 hr on the acount on the attached device and on my PC, I have submitted it, and I have synced it, and I have even restarted the tracker, but the tracker still has the 24hr format.

How can I change it?

My sons was working with 24 hour clock yesterday but today has changed and is 12 hours behind.  I can’t change it to the correct 24 hour or 12 hour clock.

You can add the ace 2 directly to the parent account (instead of the child’s ) and it will let you choose the same 12 hour format
