Charge 2 and Ace 2 from the same family affecting each other

I have had a charge 2 for a long time with very few issues. Recently we got an ace 2 for or son and I noticed the step count on his tracker was way off from what it should be, it almost always seemed to be within 1000 steps of what my charge 2 had no matter how many steps he had taken. I decided to test it further and left my tracker off all day as I went to work, when I got home I checked it and it showed over 8000 steps and it hadn’t moved all day, then we checked my sons, who had been wearing his ace 2 all day, and it had roughly 8000 steps on it. Has anyone ever seen 2 different trackers interfering with each other before? I have the Fitbit app for IOS on my phone

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Rsmith27.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your concern about the step count you see on your son's Ace 2 tracker. Thank you for providing the additional details, I am here to help. I recommend confirming if you have your Charge 2 and Ace 2 paired to your Fitbit account, as using the trackers at the same time which are paired to the same account can affect accuracy. For more information, see Can I use more than one Fitbit device with the same account?

To confirm which trackers are paired to your Fitbit account, tap the Today tab, then tap your profile picture on the top left corner and you will see the devices paired to your Fitbit account. I recommend following the steps to set up the Ace 2 to Fitbit family account in this help article: How do I set up Ace or Ace 2 for my child?

Let me know how it goes, I'll be around.
