Children disappeared from account and cannot add via google family

I had 2 children accounts set up via Fitbit account all worked perfectly, then they changed to google and my 2 child profiles disappeared. 
I changed to google profile to see if this worked, but cannot add. It says they need to be on my google profile, which they are. 
but they are still not showing as family members. Cannot set up a firbot account in their name as rhe google account is supervised! Well of course they are, they are children. 
Cannot just set up new account like they are adults or they cant have an Ace watch because they are adults! 😡 

so fustruting. 
i have raised a complaint via the chat and it has been escalated, but so annoying as the watches are now 8 months old so cant be returned. And I cant set them up an account!!!!

I also just found out that if they have an amazon fire you cant set up ace watches on their tablets! Why??! You can set up adult watches on them??! 
i am currently using iphone, but have also tried on my husbands andriod phone with same issues!
sorry rant over. 
any help appreciated. I will update if I hear anything on the esculated query. 
however looks like lots of people are having the same issue for over a month and no answer from Fitbit!
