Closed app in middle of update (ace)

I closed the app in the middle of an update on my son's Ace 2, and now I can't finish the update...or even get it to find his device. Advice?

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing the difficulty you're experiencing with completing the update of your son's Ace 2 tracker. I recommend doing the following: 

 

1. Make sure the Ace 2 is charged and restart it. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device? 

2. Restart the phone, and retry the update: How do I update my Fitbit device?
