My son would love his new fitbit Ace to track sleep stages like the adult ones do. Will this be added at some point? Thanks

Unfortunately fitbit needs heart rate data in order to calculate sleep stages so they won't be able to add this to the Ace.

@Jjs789 Welcome to our Fitbit Community! Regarding your question, my friend @SteveH is totally right. Since the Ace doesn't have a heart rate tracker, it won't be able to track sleep stages.
I'd like to share the Ace manual so you can see the features and functions.

As @SteveH pointed out, you need a tracker that tracks heart rate to get Sleep Stages. Any other tracker would get you Simplified Sleep Stages.
