Disable message in app for kids?

Hi

I'd like to disable the ability to message in the fit bit app. Is this possible?

I'm frustrated that this is an offered feature and that as a parent I wasn't give the choice about whether I wanted messages options for my child. Kid now wants to sit and message friends about school instead of be more active!

Would be best if I could just delete the messaging ability.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your concern about the option to disable the messaging ability for your child. I totally understand how you are feeling and appreciate your feedback. At this time there is no option to delete the ability to send messages in the Fitbit app, however, you can share your suggestion in our Feature suggestion board. I recommend to encourage your child to participate in challenges or reach (increase) the daily goal in order to increase the activity.
