I brought both my kids a Fitbit ace and was quite disappointed to find that I was unable to add a photo of my child on there account only being able to add childish pre designed images instead. This is for 8+ year olds and the pre designed images look like there for 2 year olds. Also a disappointment was that there was no distance tracking feature on there either I thought that this would be a feature but sadly not. My kids love them and to be fair since they have had them they haven’t stopped moving around which is why I got them but they are sad that they can’t see the distance that they have traveled like you can on my charge please add this feature and the ability to add my own photo to my child’s account thanks

Hi, @matt6746, I completely agree. I have no idea why at least total distance for the day is not available on the Ace.
Kids love numbers and statistics. It would be great if you could say, "Look at you! You walked X miles today!". I think they would be very proud, amd Fitbit should definitely add this.
I think that as this is a new venture for Fitbit, they are still exploring ideas for what folks would like. There is currently a feature suggestion that requests distance to be recorded for the Fitbit Ace. I suggest voting for it here. The more votes, the more likely it is to be implemented.
As for the photo issue, I think Fitbit were worried about protecting kids online, and that is probably why the photo option isn't available for kids. I know Fitbit is reviewing this issue, so you also might like to add your comments and vote to this feature request.
