Does Alta HR fit an Ace band?

I have an extra Alta HR and I am wondering if it would fit inside of an Ace band for my son to use? His wrist is too small for a regular adult small band so I am wondering if anyone can confirm if this is a good option for him! Would there be any downside to using it? (He’s 9) not sure if it would give me trouble linking to a family account or not. Thanks for your insight!

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced. Thank you for the information provided.

Please note the following information:

- The Fitbit Ace is compatible with Fitbit Alta HR.

- The Fitbit Ace 2 is compatible with Inspire series classic accessory bands.

- The Fitbit Ace 3 is compatible with Inspire 2 classic accessory bands. You can print this guide to find the right size for your son, and size up if he's in between sizes.

Have a nice day.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @kristinabui8.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your concern about the Fitbit Ace band being compatible with Fitbit Alta HR. Thanks for the details shared, I am glad to assist you. I would like to confirm that Fitbit Alta and Fitbit Alta HR wristbands are compatible with Ace, and vice versa. The Ace wristbands are extra small and are shorter than Alta and Alta HR bands in size small.

Regarding your concern about the Fitbit family account, only Fitbit kids devices (Fitbit Ace and Ace 2) can be connected to a child account. For more information, see How do I get started with Fitbit kids devices?

Fitbit requires that all registered users of standard accounts be at least 13 years old in the US. Customers in other regions may have different minimum age guidelines. I appreciate your understanding.

Hi, I currently have my sons fitbit ace 3 in my hand and the alta strap that I've read over and over is compatible. For the life of me I can not see how it's possible, the ends of the strap are a completely different shape and size. Can you explain how I connect the new strap please
