Don't have option to set up Family Account on iPhone

I do not have the option to set up a family account in my app on my iPhone. Please help!

Thank you! I ended up having to delete it and add it back. Once I opened the app it worked!

I am sorry to hear you don't have the option to set up a Family account in the app on your iPhone. Thanks for trying to resolve this, I totally understand how you are feeling and I am here to help. I recommend doing the following:

  1. Log out of the app.
  2. Force quit the app and check if it is updated to the latest version by following these steps.
  3. Restart your phone. 
  4. Log into the Fitbit app and follow the steps from this help article to create a Family account and set up the tracker: How do I set up Ace or Ace 2 for my child?

I am having no luck and do not understand why I would want to create a family account. Second, when even trying to create a family account it is impossible or less I am not seeing how it is done. I am getting extremely frustrated trying to work with this application.

I am sorry that you are going through this situation, I understand how you are feeling and I am here to help. I would like to advise that in order to set up a Fitbit Ace or Ace 2 device for your child, you need to create a Fitbit family account and connect the tracker to a phone, tablet, or computer. I did something with a 3rd party and they didn't send me the charger I needed so not getting the information I need - will be waiting another day or two before I can take advantage of this and hopefully things are able to get resolved; I found something on YouTube that is showing me exactly how to go through the setup with the family setup and the plugin have bookmarked it.
