I can’t set up my kids device. When I click on set up family account “unknown error” message pops up.

@BByrd , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message. 

Please make sure that you have the latest Fitbit App installed on your mobile device. 

If the error still appears. 

Verify that you have a strong internet connection. 

If possible and if you have access to another mobile device where you can install the Fitbit app, try logging in there and try to setup the family account there.
