Family account - manage multiple children's Ace 2 accounts on parent phone

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have 2 kids who each have an Ace 2. They do not have phones so both kids have to be synced and managed from my phone.

It will only sync one Ace2 at a time. I have to switch to parent view, login, then switch to the second kid view for the second one to sync

This is time consuming, but if I don't do it, then one of the girls is always upset they can't see their sleep statistic when they wake up.

Biggest ask: I want multiple devices to be able to sync from one phone (patent account)

Interim ask if easier: allow me to switch between my kids accounts more easily. For example go from child 1 directly to child 2 by typing in password instead of child1 to parent to child 2

I already have multiple devices synced to my phone as I stated in my original comment. But their fitbits do not I sync unless I'm on their profile. Therefore I have to swap between profiles every morning to sync each device. If there is not a way for both Fitbits to update to my device without me doing that, I am asking for an easier user interface to swap between accounts because currently it is a lengthy process. Please re-read my original comments for details.

I have installed the Fitbit app on our family's Windows 10 tablet and would like my young children to be able to switch kids accounts and sync their activity without needing to access the guardian accounts. Many other profile management apps for children allow this.

I couldn’t agree more with this original post.
LiliyaFitbit, please answer the specific question of being able to switch directly between kid accounts. The app simply DOES NOT function at all for multiple kid users. I’m going to wait a week or so. Pending your response I plan to otherwise return all 6 fitbits and recommend to any other family user the same. Terrible app functionality for kid / family users. Not happy.

Agree with the posted message above, the way it works is really annoying. having 3 kids with out phones as they are not old enough to warrant their own mobile device. the need to go into each profile makes morning breakfest sync ups take way longer than it needs to.

second while we on the topic, really the ace 2 is good as others have posted for the "younger" age range but when they hit 11+ its not cool to be seen with one... plus your "USA led" rules on use of flex2, inspire 2 HR and other units only for adults is really limiting. if  being UK/ euro zone based can give consent for it to be as a child account. then we as parent should be able to apply that consent.

3rd linking parents to the both childs accounts. e.g. once we have a family group with both gardians added that the settings and results and ability to sync all 3 fit bits should be an option to be considered to adding.

4th if you cant or will not change on number 2, then allow us to sync different fitbits to different accounts from a single phone.
