Fitbit Ace 2 alarms installation

Hi

our fitbit ace 2 app says that alarms are installed. On the watch itself it says it’s not and that we have to ‘add alarms in the fitbit app’. It’s impossible to uninstall then reinstall. Any tips?

thanks

@Swede777, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Ace since it seems that it doesn't have the alarms set up.

Please restart your Fitbit Ace as described in this help article. After this, make sure that you are setting up the alarms as listed in this help page.

Keep me posted on the outcome!.

Thanks for your help. However, after 2 restarts it hasn’t helped. The fitbit app says the alarms are installed but the fitbit itself says we need to install them!

@Swede777, thank you for getting back. By the way, thank you for restarting the Fitbit Ace before contacting our forums.

Please make sure that your Ace has the most recent Fitbit app version installed. If the app is up to date, try logging out of the app, restart your phone, open the app and log in. After this, try setting up your Fitbit Ace from scratch. Finally, try setting up the alarms again and see if the issue gets fixed.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi
Still no joy. I have tried all suggestions and it still says that I’m the alarms are not installed on the fitbit but the app says it is.

@JuanJoFitbit I am experiencing the same issues. Ive restarted multiple times, Fitbit app is up to date, logged off, logged in, I even cleared the data (reset) the Ace 2 and still the Fitbit says I need to install the Alarms but the app says it's already installed. Is there a fix for this? I find it ridiculous that we cannot "uninstall" apps and reinstall them

I'm getting the same issue after having tried all the suggested fixes. Did they ever fix this for you?

I was able to set the alarms from the app on my phone when I select the device and scrolled to the bottom under "Silent Alarm".  Once synced, it's shows up.  I don't know if there's a way to do it directly from the watch.

@aspark659 I was able to set the alarms from the app on my phone too. Set a test in "Silent Alarm" (synced) got vibration alarm to work. See alarm on phone screen now. Past/non active alarm grayed out. Future set bright display. Tapped each of these and it toggles between set (bright) & off (grayed)

My guess kid Acer 2 needs to have alarms set on app & synced. Does not look like there's a way to do set directly on the watch.
