Fitbit Ace 2 fallen out of strap

I bought a Fitbit Ace 2 for my 9 year old son as an end of school gift. He absolutely loved it, unfortunately the actual Fitbit fell out of the strap when he was running and is now lost, all I have is the strap that was still attached to his arm! Has anyone else had this happen, it the strap faulty?

It happened with us also. I called fitbit and was told that since it was lost there was nothing they could do and lost pebbles are not covered in the warranty. The design it not good. 

 

 

Sad times Fitbit. You can do better then this

Has happened to me too. Bought my 7yr old daughter one for achieving a target at school.

 

she loved it.

 

it is now lost (in a softplay)

 

not sure i will go with fitbit again. Will look at alternatives, given this was made specifically for kids, and has the loosest design!
