Fitbit Ace 3 app not available in my country/region

My son was given a Fitbit Ace 3 watch for his Xmas. I have installed the Fitbit app on his phone, setting up a kids account using his gmail addess. I have also installed it on my phone.

When I go to add the Fitbit Ace 3 device to his account I am told to install the Ace 3 app using the link provided. However, when I click the link I am told that the app is not availible in my country/region.

Any ideas how to move past this?

I am in the UK and using IOS devices.

Welcome  to the Fitbit Community, @spectral_pirate. I'll be happy to assist with your Ace 3 app and setting up a kid's account.

Your country is included in order to use the app. Please check the help article: How do I set up Fitbit Ace devices? You'll find all the steps and requirements.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

I am getting the same problem - when eventually sent to App Store , it says the Fitbit Ace 3 app is not available in country or region. I have also tried finding the app on my own device, and it’s not available anywhere (all the other Fitbit apps come up, not the Ace one though). The instructions you added above do not address this issue, so please can you address directly that question - why the Fitbit Ace 3 app is not available to us?
Is this a known issue? Is there a technical issue? Has it been recently removed from App Store for downloading? Is there a differently named app that is compatible with the Ace 3 device?
thanks

@Marcoppizio   If you typed 'Fitbit ace 3' in the Search field and are seeing an app marked Fitbit Ace with a green hand in a victory sign, that is the Fitbit Ace LTE app.  That is a different device and is only available in the US.  Use the same Fitbit app as you would for your own Fitbit.
