Hi,

we baught 2 fitbit ACE for our kids and they are synched on they’re iPads.

ho many days can a fitbit ACE keep the information in memory before requiring a synch ? They don’t use they’re iPads during the week so can they go 7 days without synch ?

What is the maximum days to have all the informations ? They sleep with they’re ACE.

thanks

The only guidelines from fitbit I could find say:

  • Most trackers store up to 7 days of detailed minute-by-minute data. If you have a Fitbit Alta™, your minute-to-minute data is stored for up to 5 days. If you wait longer than 7 days (5 days for Alta) before syncing, you may only see the most recent week's detailed data.
  • Summary data (calories, distance, steps, and floors) will be stored for 30 days. If your tracker measures heart rate, summary heart rate data will be stored as well.

As the Ace is based on the Alta it looks like it can only hold up to 5 days of detailed data between syncs but if you wait longer than that then it doesn't just delete the data, it just holds it at a summary level which may be good enough for you and your kids.
