Fitbit ace 2 not working at all

I purchased this several months ago from my granddaughter for her birthday which was yesterday. I plug this in to charge it it shows nothing you can feel it vibrate when you attach the charger but nothing comes up on the watch whatsoever. It has been charging for several hours which should’ve already given it a full charge but yet still there is nothing there please tell me what to do or send me a replacement watch
