Fitbit and family link

I'm trying to connect my old charge 5 to my child's Google account but it just keeps giving me an error message. Her account is managed by me on family link but she's over 13. She used T have an ace 3 connected but she lost it and I can't login anymore to remove it... Help?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Ssevestrr. I'll be glad to assist with your family link and child's Google account inquiry. 

  1. You'll need to remove your child from the family link, and you'll get an email saying she could now have a standard Fitbit account. 
  2. Reinstall the Fitbit app on her phone. Charge 5 will show up as an option. 
  3. Set up the Charge 5 with a standard account. 
  4. Re invite your child to join the family link.
