How do I switch from kg to lbs on my child's Fitbit ACE 3? Thank you in advance.

My granddaughter wanted one terribly after I got mine, so she got the ACE 3 since it was geared towards kids health. However, I was under the impression that it also would at least show how many calories were burned and that's not a option. Also just the opposite with hers, if she moves her arm to reach for something, it counts it as a step or 2. It just seems to be so inaccurate when counting her steps. Somehow at the end of the day she has more steps in than me and she's remote learning while I'm all over the house doing things. 🤷🏼‍:female_sign:

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Mustluvcats.

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Ace 3. Thank you for the information provided.

The Fitbit Ace 3 tracks sleep, all-day steps and Active Minutes. It doesn't track calories burned therefore there is no option to switch from kg to lbs. You are welcome to make any suggestion in the Feature Suggestions board which is constantly monitored by our engineering team for future implementations.

Regarding the extra steps registered, please be aware the dominant wrist setting decreases the sensitivity of step counting and should reduce any over counting of steps when your granddaughter's body is not moving. Her dominant hand is the one she uses for writing and eating. For instructions on how to change this setting and get information about what situations could make the Fitbit device to count extra steps please visit this article.
