My daughter has an ACE and was set up as a child in a family group with that tracker. We needed to change phones, so that tracker was removed from her account on one phone, but there is no apparent way of adding a tracker back onto a child account on another phone.
The easiest route would on the face of it be to just delete my daughter and start over with account creation on the new phone. Unfortunately, the account name is locked out if you try and remove it as it is locked out for a number of days whilst the account recovery option is in place, I don't want to give my daughter another name just because there is no obvious way of adding her tracker back.
Any suggestions which enable me to resolve this straight away?

Okay issue resolved, it would be helpful to have the device management options linked from the family screen directly as a menu option.

@Fishwarp Welcome to the Community! Gald to hear you figured it out. Yes, you must go into the child's account and set up the device from there. My best guess is that it's the easiest way to manage multiple family members and their trackers.

Sorry for the confusion @Fishwarp your daughters tracker was not setup to a phone, but to the family account.
To change phones, the tracker did not need to be removed from the family account Simply logging into the family account on the new phone would have set everything up.
The only thing on the old phone, if it was still working, would be to remove the tracker from the Bluetooth settings.
