Same happening here, although in our case it’s changed my son’s month from 02 to 01. So annoying.

Hi. I have the same issue. My daughter's date of birth is out by one day. I'm in the southern hemisphere - is there any chance that fitbit altered it as we are in a different time zone???

Yup, same thing for me. I entered my son's bday correctly, and it's one day off. Unfortunately, the slow response to fixing annoying, but not critical bugs is classic fitbit. Very disappointing considering the cost and wasted time troubleshooting

Problem continues. At least I know it's a glitch now. Had an angry 10 year old saying I don't know her birthday. Input Dec 5, it now says Dec 4.

@spuck20 yes, afraid this is known. I don't have a timeline for a fix currently, unfortunately.

Glad its a known issue. Just bought the Ace 2 for my daughter and it messed up her birthday. Come on fitbit you should have had this resolved by now.

I had a moment when I thought maybe this is time zone related? (I am in Australia) but I don't think so as Aust time is ahead of US time. ie I input my son's birthday as Nov 3 but the fitbit has altered it to Nov 4. It doesn't impact his day to day use but still annoying nonetheless.

My 10 year old got the Ace2 for Christmas and the same thing occurred. His birthday is off by 1 day and he thinks I don't know his birthday now. How has this not been fixed. It's been 18 months since this was reported. Come on Fitbit.

The same thing happened to me. I tried deleting my son's account and then adding a new one and the same thing happened. Is there a timeline for fixing this? It appears to have been an issue for over 2 years now!

I began asking about this about 2 years ago. A lot of people have brought it up. Apparently its a known issue but as far as I can tell, no timeline has been given for a fix. Pretty poor customer service, especially given the huge competition for our dollars. I'm not impressed.
It's Jan 2021. How can this be called a "high priority?"

As someone who works in IT, this is not a big ask either. All I want is for my kids bday to be accurate, or at least have a way to update it to the correct date similar to how you can update Gender, etc. for kids.

How is this a "top priority" when 2 years after it was originally reported, it is still not fixed? I just bought my daughter an ace and it switched her birthday by a month! I know my child's birthday.... C'mon Fitbit. Be better.

My son’s Fitbit, bought in Dec. 2021 changed his birthdate. It’s set as two days earlier than what was entered. When I googled how to fix it I came across this thread and I am shocked that this issue has been going on for YEARS without being addressed. So frustrating.

When will this be fixed? It seems as though you have just turned off the view of the DOB for kids now instead of fixing the issue. I know I entered his DOB and height when I created his account, and now it just shows as "nothing to show" and there is no "edit" button. 😡
