I wouldn't agree here, Kate.
In my case, I pre-ordered Sense and 2 additional bands. Order was placed on 28-Aug-2020. All items were marked as "Pre-order - Ships by 9/25/20".
In late September, my card was charged with Sense price, I received an e-mail about Sense being shipped, and I've successfully received it. That's the happy part of the story, yay! 😀
The sad part of the story (providing space for improvement in handling the eShop orders) is:
It would be helpful to improve the eShop with the order history page and ensure order status tracking was not relying solely on the links from order confirmation e-mails, which currently tend to expire after roughly a month.
