How to correct the date on a Charge 2 & an Alta?

Both my son’s Charge 2 and my Alta have the wrong dates & times on them.  Does anyone know why this is and how to correct them?

They get date and time from phone or other sync device at each sync.  Unless off by exact number of hours (such as time zone issue), that is the only way to set.  If you can force a sync, it should get set right.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

@Melgar Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with the wrong time and date that your Alta and your son's Charge 2 are displaying.

 

I'd just like to know if the issue persists or if your Fitbit devices are now showing the correct time and date after following the great troubleshooting steps that shared @JohnnyRow.

 

In the meantime, please restart your Fitbit devices as described in this help article. After this, sync your Fitbit trackers and see if they show the correct information.
