Hi, I've deleted my kid's (8yo) fitbit account and app from his phone a while ago. Now I'd like to reactivate it, but when we try to do so, the Android app gives us a message "Because you've deleted the fitbit account from the Google profile, you need to sign in with a different Google account." My kid only has this one Google account, so I'd like to know if there's a way around this issue?

If there haven't been 90 days after you deleted your kids account I'd recommend using a new email address in order to get your kid back on track.

Thanks for the help. It's been about 6 weeks now since we've deleted the account. I'd be inclined to wait the 90 days if we can just reuse his current Google account to log in after that. I don't want to create another email just yet, because he's getting used to it and all of the permissions and stuff are set up with this one account.
Can you confirm we can reuse the Google account to log in after 90 days?

I'm ok with losing the past data. But I think we came full circle because about your point #1, I've tried everything and anything (VPN, with/out FamilyLink, different device, clear cache, reinstall app, etc.) to create a Fitbit account with my kid's Gmail account and the only thing I get is the message mentioned in the 1st post. "Because you've deleted the fitbit account from the Google profile, you need to sign in with a different Google account." I've also tried using my Gmail account and adding my kid through the family section, but the app gives my an error everytime. "There seems to be an issue, try a little later." Which I did, over a week or two. No success.
I've tried creating the account with my youngest kid Gmail account and it works fine. But it doesn't fix my main issue.
