How to switch between 2 child accounts on the app?

Hi,

My 2 children share an iPhone and have a fitbit ace 3 each (so 2 fitbits and one phone). I have installed the fitbit app on their iPhone, created 2 Child accounts on the app and linked each account to a fitbit.

How do my kids switch between their respective profiles on the app to view their data? When does data sync between the fitbit and the iPhone app?

Thanks.

Hi @Pj302  each child would need to log out of the account so the other could sign in their account and sync. Syncing generally happens every 20 minutes or as activity is detected. You can also manually sync, but once they log in, the sync should be automatic. They would just need to take turns logging in, syncing and checking their stats. Sounds like an active household!

How do the kids log out of their account. I don't see a logout option in the kids session.

Thanks

Thank you for your reply, @Pj302.

I understand your concern and would like to advise that you need to switch back to parent view in order to log out of the child's account. After that you can switch to another child's account and sync the second tracker. For more information about syncing trackers, see

Hope this helps.

This is just ridiculous. I will now have to share the parent account
password with my children because clearly FitBit has no clue how to design
software features.

Why does a child need a parent password to toggle between sibling accounts?
Does not make any sense - just bad design and poor decision making by
FitBit.
