How to un-sync the Ace from parent phone and re-set to android tablet?

Recently bought two aces for my twins 8th birthday.  Wishing I had gone with Garmin (which they had previously).  In their excitement to try the aces, I’ve created a family account and also synced their device to my phone, thinking that would be no big deal, I could resend to their tablet later if we needed to.

But they started getting my call notifications on their bands after bedtime not ideal. I realized it is supposed to be possible to turn off notifications but once  I realized that you have to switch to kid view then back to parent view (with a password) and then switch to the other kids view just so they can see their stats, I thought this is a total pain, and decided to set them up on their own Samsung tablets.  So I had to delete them from the family account (although they seem to be there) as their is no obvious way to unsync the ace from my iPhone without doing this).  Have tried to then set up the ace on their tablet but can’t get it to even recognise the ace - is this because it is still synced to my iPhone? I am so regretting ever buying these things right now, I don’t understand why it is so hard to use - the Garmins were so easy!

Hi, @Tania99 , whether that will work will mainly depend on what sort of tablets they have and whether they are compatible with the Fitbit app.

You can check here.  It is likely that they will work, as most Samsung devices do work well.

You will need to go to your own phone's Bluetooth settings and make sure that the kids' Aces are deleted/ forgotten from the phone's BT settings before another device will be able to recognize them.  It might also help if you move your phone out of range or turn it off during set up.

Please post again if you continue to have difficulty and do give as much information as possible about what you have tried and where you are running into difficulties.

Sense, Charge 5, Inspire 2; iOS and Android

the information that shared my friend @Julia_G is correct. Please make check out if the tablet is in the Supported devices list.

I'd like to share this help article, which has more details about how to manage your Family account.
