How to view data from Ace 3 via the web

I bought my daughter an Ace 3 for her birthday. Setting it up wasn't a problem, and she now has a child account linked to my parent account. However, the data visible via the app on her phone is somewhat limited. So she would like to be able to view it on the web. She's also like to be able to view her data on her iPad by setting up an account there that will just pull the data down from the central server without needing to sync directly with the device itself (ie, in the same way that my data is visible across multiple devices, including the web, even though it only syncs with one of them).

Given that she doesn't have a username and password of her own, though, I can't see any way to log in to the website, or to an app, with her details. I've looked on my own website login, but there's nothing there about a family account and no way to link to hers.

I've looked at the help instgructions online but they're all a bit vague on this - the only information is about pairing the Ace with a device, not about accessing the data from another device that isn't paired.

Please can someone give me the necessary instructions on how to access her account on the web and set up an account for her on her iPad that will show the data without needing to be paired with the device.

Thanks.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @MarkSG.

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I appreciate your efforts and understand your concern. I would like to advise that you need a compatible Android phone, iPhone, or iPad to set up and sync the Ace 3 tracker, there is no option to see your Fitbit family account information on fitbit.com website. To verify that your device is compatible with the Fitbit app, go to fitbit.com/devicesSince your daughter has her own iPad, you can log into your Fitbit account on this device and then switch to kid view. She can use her iPad to sync her tracker and see the stats. For more information, see

For more information about the Ace 3, see this manual

Hope this helps!
