Is there anyway of having your child’s ace account viewable on the amazon fire tablet we have the app on there can log my Fitbit in but then can not change to family so he can see it an sync it himself? I have read you can download something on a memory card thing but I don’t have a pc an stuff to do this an don’t really understand how just a bit annoyed the app is just not combatiable.

Hi, @Michelle4042 , the Kindle Fire is not an officially supported device, and the Fitbit app for that device was not created by Fitbit -- presumably it was made and adapted for that device by Amazon software engineers.  Unfortunately they have not kept up with changes in Fitbit, so their app does not reflect the Family Account option that was introduced by Fitbit a year or so ago.

The official Fitbit app, where you will be able to access Fitbit Family Accounts, is available on a large number of smartphones and tablets.  Do you have one of those that you could use?  If you have your own Fitbit and have set up an account for your child's Ace you should be able to access their account that way.

Hi, @Michelle4042 , I appreciate that!  Unfortunately, because the Kindle Fire App for Fitbit is not a Fitbit app, Fitbit aren't responsible for updates.  It would be great if Amazon could update this to reflect Family Accounts and other updates in Fitbit, but you would really need to contact Amazon about this and urge them to update to reflect more recent changes, like Fitbit family accounts.

I am sorry not to have better information for yu.

@Michelle4042 It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! As my friend @Julia_G mentioned, I'm afraid to say that the Kindle Fire is not in the supported devices list.

Please check out this help article, which contains a list of the supported devices that sync with the Fitbit trackers.

In addition, I'd like you to give you to vote to this Feature Suggestion, which requests compatibility with the Amazon Kindle Fire. The more votes this request gets, the more chances it will have to be reviewed by our engineers.

Old post, but would love to see full functionality of the Fitbit app on the Kindle Store. Purchased kids Fitbits, but they only have Kindle Fires... just like 80% of kids have.

only option now, is to create their own Fitbit accounts along with unique email address and password. Not too happy about that.
