I only have access to my child's dashboard

Used my account to set up a family account for my child's fitbit ace on my ipad with me as the guardian the guardian. Now only have access to her dashboard , not mine. Have tried to set up additional device. Any help appreciated.

Hello @Dumky3, it's good to see you back in the Community forums! And thanks @ACG, this helps keep the boards organized! 

 

@Dumky3, your personal account should definitely not be deleted for creating a family account through the app. I think what's happening is that you're still seeing the app from Kid's view, as you mentioned.

 

You should be able to return to your personal account (Parent View) by doing the following: 

 

1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon. 
2. Tap Switch to Parent View.
3. When prompted, enter your password.

 

In the other hand, if you'd like to switch from parent view to kid view:

 

1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon. 
2. Tap My Family.
3. Tap your child’s name.
4. Tap Switch to Kid View.
