I followed all the steps and created a Google account for my son. I successfully linked my child’s Google account to mine via Family Link.
Then I try to enter in the Fitbit app with my son’s account but appeared and this message : You cannot use Fitbit with this Google Account. This may depend on whether you’re using a Google Workspace account or whether your account is supervised. Learn more about using Fitbit with a Google Account
On the other hand it is impossible to configure an Ace 3 with my personal account so, in fact, the tracker is unusable.
Can you explain me how I can do thist?

I’m having the same trouble. Totally impossible.
I’m trying to set up a fitbit ace 3 using an iphone with ios 16.7.7 and have created a google family group as advised online. However, the fitbit app won’t link to that account & the ace 3 cannot work without being set up in the app. (The young person would be happy to use the device autonomously - without the app - but on the display of the ace 3 there is a message advising to ‘download the fitbit mobile app’…
This is hell! Does anyone know how I can get this thing to work, please?
(I don’t think I can return the 2 I bought because they were Christmas presents for my grandchildren & it’s been too long since they were purchased. Also, we tossed most of the packaging thinking fitbit is a reliable brand. But this doesn’t seem true any longer.

I am having a nightmare connecting my child Ace 3 to my phone app account - it never works and we have never found this easy since buying the watch two years ago!!! So useless you can’t even adjust the time/date from the watch itself - the whole thing is so not user friendly. I have tried everything from turning Bluetooth on/off, restarting watch/phone etc etc this has never worked for us - what a waste of money!

Yes, I totally agree. I’ve had to stick the 2 I bought into a drawer, ready for the next electronic rubbish collection. Then I had to buy different belated Christmas gifts for the grandkids. I could spit & stamp - it’s so annoying. Stuff fitbit. I’m never buying another of their products! (And I’ve had about 6 over the years…)

Try unlinking your Google account by the Google permissions page and see if that works. It may be fixed in the future, but for now try unlinking the Google account.
