Invitation to family account is stuck

I’ve created a family account and have invited my son to be a member. He has unknowingly deleted the email and on my app the invite is still in the list with the ‘clock’ icon showing the invite is still pending. Unfortunately I cannot see a way to delete this and send the invite again.

 

I’ve deleted both my son as a friend and the family from my account,however when I create a new family the ‘pending’ invite to my son is back in the list with the clock icon next to it.

 

Is this a know bug, or is there a solution to resending a family invite?

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing the difficulty you're experiencing with inviting your son to be a member of the Fitbit family account. Thanks for trying to resolve this, I appreciate the additional details and I am here to help. I understand that your son deleted the email and recommend trying the following on your son's Fitbit account: 

1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the inbox icon in the top right.

2. Tap Notifications.

3. If he sees the request, tap to open and tap "Join Family"

I've had this same issue and was able to fix it. (My issue was a family gardian request stuck in limbo).

 

First i had to sign out of the fitbit app on both phones (my wife and mines) and delete the app from our phones. I then reinstalled the app on the phones and signed back in. From my phone it still showed the pending request to make my wife a gardian but on her phone in the notification section, the request appeared in which she was able to accept it to complete the process.

 

I hope this helps for anyone having this same issue.
