Is Fitbit Ace compatible with Galaxy J3 2018?

My daughter is an adult, but she has Down's Syndrome and I am considering purchasing a Fitbit Ace for her.  I will be using it to help motivate her to exercise more.

  • How simple-to-use is the Fitbit Ace?
  • She has a new Samsung Galaxy Achieve J3 2018.    Will the Fitbit Ace sync with her phone?.  If not, does any one have any suggestions for a Fitbit which is compatible with Galaxy J3 2018?
  • How well does the parental tracking feature work?
  • If we have multiple Fitbits in the same home, will they get confused?   I have a Fitbit Zip right now that I sync with my iPhone 6S

Thank you

@SeekerOneTwo Welcome to our Fitbit Community! You're such a great mother and it's awesome that you want to have your daughter motivated.

Regarding your questions, I'm afraid that the Samsung Galaxy Achieve J3 is not in the compatible devices list. With this being said, we don't guarantee that the features will work on the Fitbit Ace.

You can go ahead and set up the Ace through your phone, as long as it's compatible. In order to do this, you need to create a Family account through your own Fitbit account and add your daughter as a family member so you can have control on her account also.

Please check out this help article, which explains more information about the Fitbit Ace.
