Through Google I ended up on fitbitstore.us which I thought was the actual fitbit site. I ordered 2 fitbit ace 2s, but became suspicious when I didn't get a confirmation and then couldn't create an account on site. They did charge me through paypal which listed the items (but uses a personal gmail account with a Chinese name). But have otherwise no idea if the order is being processed. This was 3 days ago and I am trying to figure out if I ended up getting scammed and should begin the process of contesting charge.

I ordered myself one for Mother's Day as well! They were on sale on the other "real" site, but they were not as cheap as the us store. I reported to Pay Pal and Teang Duong sent a false UPS tracking number so Pay Pal closed my case and wont help me. I thought Pay Pal was secure and insured! I am disappointed!

I tried to recover through Pay Pal they denied my case said it shows it was delivered, so I called UPS ( which was the first time I had heard who was handling the shipping) they told me it was delivered to the office, (we are residential) signed by a name CAVENESS. Paypal claims to have confirmed with the seller this information! Funny when I email them I get this email is non-functioning, so I asked who are you getting ahold of the seller? No response. Either this person has tapped into PayPal and or UPS is amazing to me. All this work to steal 135 dollars. If anyone has a better way to get the money back let me know. So disappointing.

I tried to reopen my case but couldn’t find a way, I finally got a number to call and they texted me a chat link. After getting a human on chat and explaining what happened including the fact that UPS said the delivery did not go to me, but was not allowed to say who it went to, and including the link to this forum page, I was told this entire chat would be sent and my case escalated and to wait for them to contact me. That was almost a week ago so I am going to call my credit card company if I don’t hear anything in a few days.

Can you advise the number you called? I am in same position. Fake UPS given & case closed by PayPal. I would like to talk to them about my case

Same thing happened to me. Paypal closed my complaint saying that they received a UPS tracking number, and that tracking number said that a package was delivered to my city, though no specific address was on the tracking info. Of course, I never received anything. Going to re-open my case with Paypal again

I gave up on PayPal and UPS, i contacted my credit card company and told
them I was a victim of fraud, and I never received any product. They
credited me back, but told me to keep all documentation up till 90 days.
Hope this helps.

Here is the process:
Dispute through paypal get denied because of a fake tracking number which isnt really fake it's just stolen and not your tracking number. When your tracking info comes the top will say proof of delivery and I have a friend at UPS who said they never say that. In my instance it was a steel company in Iowa sending something to a business near me and said signed by McNeil and arrived at a loading dock. Clearly not my home. UPS customer service will do nothing and give you no information. Appeal your denial Attach the tracking, attach this thread, demand a supervisor and tell them UPS wont help. Within 24 hours of me doing this a manager at paypal called UPS verified it didnt go to my address and awarded me my money back. Do not give up after a denial. Any questions feel free to ask. Good luck to everyone!

Yes!!!! Pay pal and UPS has closed my complaint. I am still fighting. The sender Tango Chang but bill to a strange name and pay pal will not provide any further information. Purchase was charged on my pay pal credit card. UPS states delivery was to office and signed by Faith. My address is resident apartment and no one in the apartments is named Faith.Requested signature can't provide!! This is a rip-off but 2Major companies PAY PAL and UPS will at least block this from happening and acknowledge!!!!

I had the same problem. Crazy thing is when I complained to PayPal they received a tracking number that says it was delivered. I never received this Fitbit. PayPal closed my case. Not sure what I can get from UPS...

You demand a supervisor at paypal, reopen the case. Tell them they need to call UPS to verify the package was not delivered to your address and attach this thread in your chat to them.

This is a FAKE! DO NOT purchase anything from there. I got scammed for $115. I used my debit card and it was taken out through PayPal. It was paid to someone by the name of Khanh Nguyen using the email AngilaMccue355@gmail.com. I notified PayPal but they were USELESS. The rep I spoke to told me that if I would have used PayPal that wouldn't have happened. She was pretty rude. I felt really stupid. The site looked so legit but it wasn't. It wouldn't even let me create an account.

June 9, I received the fake tracking number for UPS. The scammer is good, if he used USPS, then it would be mail fraud. I go to UPS tomorrow. My credit card is still investigating. Paypal did nothing.

Ups was less than helpful also, had to take it to my credit card company. It amazes me UPS or PayPal are being muddied in this mess, yet there seems to be no concern?
