Kids Ace 2, charging, syncing but blank screen

Hi all,

My daughters ace 2 is fulling charging and is syncing however the screen remains blank. I have looked for advice in the forum and followed the advice to changed the clock face and restarting. When restarted the screen gives the smile face but the screen is pixilated and then returns to being blank. 

Any advice is greatly appreciated.  Thanks
