Miles and Floors on the Ace??

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I totally understand why some features aren't available on the Ace to help protect children, but I really do not get why the recording of miles covered or floors climbed in a day isn't available. It would simply add more interesting information and discussion points to what is already being captured (hours active and steps).

I don't know about the distance but the floors are not tracked as the Ace is effectively the Alta with restricted software and the Alta does not include the sensor to track floors in order to keep the size small. So, floors are not included not because they were removed for kids but because of the hardware.

@SunsetRunner Welcome to our Fitbit Community! The information that shared my friend @SteveH is correct. I really appreciate your feedback regarding the floors and miles features that are not added in the Fitbit Ace.

I'd like you to submit your idea in our Feature Suggestions board and people can vote for it. The more votes your idea gets, the more chances it will have to be reviewed by our engineers and developers.

Thank you for your help my friend @SteveH!
