My kid receives my notifications

Why does when my phone ring, or I make a phone call, or receive a message, does it alert my 8yr old sons Ace 2 (as well as my own inspire HR)? TIA.

@Emmamon81 Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.

It's pretty weird that your son is receiving your notifications. I would like you to forget the Ace 2 from your phone's Bluetooth and check if it avoids that your son receives your notifications. It should only receive call notifications. Learn more about it by checking this article: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

My son is also receiving my text messages, and he does not have his own phone so as noted in the instructions I have added the family account and his Ace2 is attached to my device. Is there a way to avoid him getting my texts??

I noted the same behaviour. Switch out of Kid Mode and it should start resending notifications to your device rather than your LO.

Thanks, I'll make sure I've switched back to parent view before closing out and see if that does it!
