My kid's experience with Ace 2

My kid has got an Ace 2 a few months ago and we switched to the kids view in the android app and the experience was very poor. We were hoping it would get better over time, but it looks like no updates are being made on this specific part of the app? Some things we mis:

- over all: to much limited tools and functions, which discourages him to use it

- Not possible to enter manually an activity, limited fields to fill in and when you do it keeps on asking the distance, when there's no field for it

- sleeping info is very basic

@marvepro Welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.

Fitbit offers the following for kids using Ace 2:

Compete in friendly challenges. Kids can challenge their friends and family to step competitions in the Fitbit app.

Maintain healthy sleep habits. Use the Fitbit app to schedule bedtime reminders and alarms that wake kids with quiet buzzing on their wrists.

Personalize your profile. Kids can express their personality by choosing their favorite avatar and cover photo for their Fitbit profile.

Get moving more often. In the Fitbit app, set and customize friendly reminders for kids to move and stretch their legs. Note that Reminders to Move are turned off by default; turn on reminders in the Fitbit app.

Earn trophies and badges. Earn trophies and badges in the Fitbit app when you meet various goals or milestones.

Regarding manually logging activities, the fields that you're given will depend on the exercise that you're logging.

Since Ace 2 doesn't have heart rate, it will show the normal sleep pattern without sleep stages.

We always welcome feedback, if there's anything you would like to change please post your idea in our Feature Suggestion Board, those ideas are reviewed by our Support team and the status will change based in Fitbit's plans.

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
