My son's Ace 2 called my phone

So my son called my phone from his Ace 2 (which is synced) which we don't really know how he did (but thought it was pretty cool). Does anyone know how you call the synced phone from the fitbit?  

 

Does this only work when the phone is in range of the fitbit?

Hmm that was pretty weird, because you're unable to call someone from your tracker. When using notifications you should receive call notifications. Learn more about it by checking this article: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?
