today, I mistakenly unpaired my wife's ACE 2 from my phone, thinking it would allow it to again sync on her computer (I had to pair it with my phone in order to fix an issue). After a disappointing chat with a CSR, I re-paired it on my phone and found I had to create a "child" account now. My wife really doesn't need a child account. So with that done and said, if I look on my wife's dashboard at fitbit.com, it still says she has no paired devices. How do I fix this?

Hi @n0rg this is what a Fitbit Moderator posted: "I would like to advise that Fitbit designed Fitbit kids devices to encourage kids 6+ to be more active and build healthy habits with their families. Fitbit kids devices can be connected only to a child account. You can find the steps to set up Fitbit Ace devices in How do I set up Fitbit Ace devices?"
Setting your wife up as a child would mean the statistics would be wrong as they are derived from age, height and gender. You see the new Luxe or the Inspire 2? Those are for adult accounts and just as small as the Ace series.

This may be true now, but months ago when I set my wife's account up on her long-time fitbit dashboard for windows 10, it was there showing the pair right up until I unpaired it from my phone. The only reason it was paired to my phone was so I could fix one of the many issues fitbit presents itself on a regular basis. However, I could update it and it showed on her computer dashboard, but it wouldn't update by itself to the windows desktop. So now it says no paired devices and I'm really frustrated with this whole bit. Apparently, Fitbit said my wife is old enough to have her own adult account (duh), but it won't let me use her e-mail login for 72hrs. That should end soon and we'll see what happens.
