New Ace 2 not working at all = 1 unhappy little girl

Please Help before I lose the will to live.

my daughter had the Ace 2 for Xmas. Tried setting up and spent about 4 hours now trying to do it without success. It really should not take that long!

Tried all the troubleshooting tips - turning Bluetooth on and off, pressing side button on Ace, charged ok etc......still nothing. Ace just has the setup wording on screen and iPad keeps saying “failed try again”.

Thought I’d ask on here before returning it, or smashing it in frustration!!!

Try setting it up on your phone, after switching to her account. 

If the tracker shows on the ipads Bluetooth, please remove it from the Bluetooth list of devices.

I'm in the exact same boat.  My 7 year old got an Ace2 for Christmas and we have not been able to get it to sync to either the iPad or my android phone.  We spent well over an hour on the phone with customer service, restarted, updated the firmware, un-paired and re-paired, you name it.  The rep eventually gave up and said "others are having this issue, I'll need to escalate this, here's your case number", then hung up.  I expected a call back or something, but a week later and nothing.  I'm going to try to call again tonight but I'm about to return this thing.  My daughter is so sad - the time is wrong, so it resets in the middle of the day, she can't change the watch face, she can't track her sleep or her steps on the app.  About all she can do is use the stopwatch.  VERY frustrating.  Let me know if you got anywhere with this.

I've got a case reference too as I also spent ages on the phone.

All the same problems as you. Seems like the Ace 2 is more trouble than it's worth.  I'm thinking of returnng it too - andgetting a cheaper verzion that nobody is seeming ti have problems with.🙄

It's on my phone as it would not setup on the IPad- but if doesn't sync, the time is wrong, her activities aren't on the app - too many problems. 🙄
