New Ace won't setup to any device

My kid's ace is acting up so I got a new one. Followed all the steps, but after I put in the four digits to verify the new device it won't connect. I tried on every phone, ipad, and computer. Please help. It is a brand new fitbit so it should be working...its charged and shows the code so it was found by the app but after that no connection can be made.

Thank you

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Simplysasha20.

I am sorry to hear you're having difficulty setting up a new Ace tracker. Thanks for trying to resolve this, I appreciate the additional details and I am here to help. I recommend doing the following:

  1. Turn off other Bluetooth connections that are nearby.
  2. Verify if the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version. See this link.
  3. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  4. Reboot your phone/iPad and restart the tracker by following the steps from this help article.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and try to set up the tracker. You can confirm the steps in this help article: How do I set up Ace or Ace 2 for my child?

You can check the complete troubleshooting instructions at Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

Let me know how it goes, I'll be around.
