New Charge 4 picking up daughter's device data

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My daughter got a fitbit for Christmas so I set up a guardian account to allow her access, I have recently bought myself a Charge 4 but when setting it up it is syncing all my daughters data. How do I amend this so that it sync's my own data?

Hi, @kflem welcome to the community, your question really relates to the "family" account settings so I will move your post to the "Ace & Family Account" board where I'm confident community members with experience of the "Family Account" settings will be happy to assist you.

Cheers

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @kflem. It's nice to see you around and thank you for your help, @Gr4ndp4.

@kflem Thanks for the details shared in your post. I recommend confirming if your trackers are paired properly to your Fitbit account:

  1. Open the Fitbit app and tap your profile picture from the Today tab.
  2. Your should see your Charge 4 tracker.
  3. You should also see the option "My Family".
  4. Tap My Family and tap Switch to Kid View.
  5. Tap your daughter's profile picture and you should see her Ace or Ace 2 paired to her account. If you don't see the tracker, tap "Set up a device" and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

For more information about creating a Fitbit family account and setting up kids trackers, see How do I set up Fitbit Ace devices?

Hope this helps!
