Non silicone straps for ASD/ADHD kids

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My 2 younger children are ASD/ADHD. They’ve been desperate for a Fitbit and so I got them both an Ace 3 for Christmas. They desperately want to wear them but both really struggle with the feel of the silicone in their skin. So I now have 2 watches just sitting. Fitbit need to bring out straps that are not silicone, fabric for example, so that everyone can use these watches. Without the option of different straps, I have wasted £120.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @JSEW.

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Ace 3 devices.

Our team is constantly working to improve our products and services but at the moment, they have no plans to add more wristband options for Fitbit Ace series. Your suggestion and feedback are highly appreciated.

Have a nice day.

That’s not really an answer. I can almost virtually guarantee that I am not the only parent in this position and actually, how hard would it be to add a strap that isn’t made of silicone? I appreciate it isn’t a click of the fingers but for a company of your size to be that dismissive is disgraceful. Don’t thank me for my input, do something about it!

Hey, I don't know if you solved this (I see the post date is quite a few months old) but if you haven't, I am seeing that the Ace 3 is compatible with the Inspire 2 bands, which might give you a few more options.
