I just upgraded to a versa2 and want my son to have my old versa but for some reason it’s not possible to activate on his family account.
Did anyone have the same problem and was it possible to fix it?

Hi @Emmet77 The age limit is because of the international laws made to protect children online. Due to laws across the world, children are prohibited from having an online account and using these devices. The Ace series was made especially to allow children six and up to use these services. Fitbit abides by those laws. Lying about the age would create a problem since the algorithms are made based on gender, age, height and weight. So that would give completely wrong data for your child. There is no other workaround.

Ok, but I don’t see the problem of having a family account and a Versa, it’s not like he can do anything more then track his activity anyway.
If I want my kid to have my old fitbit, surely it must be up to me?

Absolutely, @Emmet77 , it's your choice. How old is your son? It would need to be set up with an age older than 13 (US) or 16 (European Union) to use something other than the Ace series. Hope he enjoys it.
