We have bought our ACE2 for our son. Having spoken with support, I understand that if you create a Parent Profile, and add your child's device to that child profile, there is then no way for you to switch the Ace2 time setting between 12 or 24hr setting. This is bonkers! This is not a feature request, this is a bug.

Hi @LiliyaFitbit. Thank you for replying to this, I appreciate it. I want try and be constructive in my response.
Please understand this from my perspective. You are selling a device designed to be a child's watch. You are accepting that today, it has no ability to change the time presentation between a 12 or 24 hour format. As an adult, I could handle that situation, I can read both. But this device is not targeted to adults, you want children to own it. My son's only feedback on this device so far is "Daddy, I do not know how to tell the time on this". How bad is that as a customer experience for a device targeted to that demographic?
I don't accept your statement that this is a 'feature'. To my mind, a feature could be a be a new clock face, or a new way of providing notifications to customers. This is a bug, pure and simple. Switching between 12 and 24hr clocks is available on your adult devices, so can you explain to me why it would be a cool new feature which would introduce new capabilities for the Ace 2?
I don't think you or I could. It is a bug, which should be fixed. As a parent, I'm disappointed that I've bought this device for our son now. I'm also sad to see Fitbit's only position is that I should submit this as a Feature Request.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @cjoha.
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your feedback regarding the option to switch the Ace 2 time setting between 12 or 24 hours. Our team is always working on improving our devices and user experiences, and your comments are always welcome. I understand how you are feeling, thank you for contacting our Support team regarding this, I am glad to assist you.
While there is no option to switch the time format for the Ace 2 at the moment, you can visit our Feature suggestion board to share your feedback or if you want the features to be improved. Here our product development teams consult regularly to ensure we're delivering on what our customers need and want. Please take a moment to visit and give us your feedback. You can read the FAQ to better understand how that board works and do a search first, in case someone else has already suggested your idea, or something similar.
I'll be around if you have any questions.

Hi @LiliyaFitbit - can I ask if you have any comments on my statement above?

Honestly, this is ridiculous. In Europe, the 24-hour clock is the most common. Unfortunately, this is where my family and I live right now and we can't change the clock to the 24-hour version. I agree with former comments: this is not a FEATURE or a NICE TO HAVE but more of a normal attribute of any device made in the 21st century. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE fix this feature. I have read that it is not on the list of things to be corrected, but I will have you know that my next fitness tracker will be from another manufacturer if this does not become a permanent part of the ACE product-line as it is with all the other Fitbit devices. What a colossal waste.

I totallly agree. I will be returning this junk. Frankly I was apalled to first find out that a step counter for my kid requires not only that I register an account but also permission to track me and my movements (my kid does not have his own phone yet, but tracking him would be even worse).
Then to top it off the device cannot do something so basic as to display the time in 24h format. Any $2 digital device can do that. And it probably takes less than 5 lines of code to implement...
I won't be buying from this company again, unless they change their business practices. Which seems unlikely when reading up on them
