Hi! Can I unpair my Fitbit Ace 2 from my phone and connect it to another device? What will happen if I do not pair it with any device at all? Thank you!

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Hoppingood.
I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your concern about connecting the Ace 2 tracker to another device. I am glad to assist you. Connecting the tracker allows it to transfer (or sync) data back and forth with Fitbit, and for the tracker to show the correct time and date. You can remove the Ace 2 from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your phone. After that you can log into your Fitbit account on another device and you may receive a message asking you to allow the Ace 2 to pair with this device.
For more information about syncing the Ace 2, see How does my child sync Ace or Ace 2 with their device?
Upon checking with our Support team, I was told that you have already contacted them. Thank you for your time and efforts.
I'll be around if you have any questions.

I also have this problem too. I want to pair my Fitbit ace 2 to my android while my iPad is still paired. My android phone runs Android 9 Pie. My iPad runs IOS 14 Public Beta.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Froakie.
Thank you for joining the thread and sharing that you're experiencing the same issue. I appreciate the additional details. Most phones work with the Fitbit app and Fitbit products if they meet our minimum OS requirements. For more information, see Fitbit-compatible devices. I recommend to remove the tracker from the Bluetooth settings on your iPad and then log into your existing Fitbit account after installing the Fitbit app on your Android phone. For steps to sync the tracker, see How do I sync an Ace tracker with my phone or tablet?
Hope this helps!

All you need to do is to break the communication with one phone or tablet. Then install the app on to the other phone and log in.
The app, not the user, handles the Bluetooth pairing.
