Parent and child's Ace account mix up

I have a Charge 3 fitbit and my son has the original Ace. We have the family account and on my phone I am logged in under the parent account. My son is logged in on kid view. His ace is showing up on both accounts and adding steps to my account. Then all of a sudden when you look under "my family" it says that he is the child and the guardian. Any idea

@Darkcrusader777 Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I understand how you are feeling and recommend doing the following:

1. Open the Fitbit app.

2. Tap the Today tab, and tap your profile picture.

3. You will see the tracker paired to your Fitbit account. If you see your child's Ace tracker paired to your Fitbit account, please remove it. You can tap "Set up a device" to pair your Charge 3 to your Fitbit account after that. 

4. After you've paired your Charge 3, tap My Family.

5. Under your child's name, tap Switch to Kid View.

6. Tap your child's profile picture.

7. Tap Set Up a Device.

8. Choose "Ace" and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

This has happened to my account, after child acc needed an alarm deletion. Now I cannot get back as guardian, though my name is now on what is actually the child's account. There is no today tab as the dashboard is different. I have turned off, added my charge 3. I attempted a deletion but couldn't then log into my account 😞 Please help!

I've encountered this problem but from a slightly different angle. My son was always on his phone. I couldn't get him out of the habit. We went to https://fosterplus.org to establish all social contacts. We were offered to monitor the child even if he is sitting on the phone and playing. After a week my son was able to set up these systems and change the tasks in the parental control. And then he claimed he had rights and they were infringed when he was being monitored without asking. That's an invasion of privacy. We gave up this way of interaction.
